The Institute on Race, Equality and Human Rights invites to join the event „The role of the UN Human Rights Council in the face of Nicaragua’s continued human rights crisis„, which you will find on facebook permanently. It took place around the 46th session of the Human Rights Council, which will starting February 22 of 2021.  This event aims to provide the diplomatic community an opportunity to hear directly from representatives of the civil society and experts about the situation in Nicaragua, including with regard to the continued crackdown on dissent and efforts by the authorities to maintain and deepen the climate of impunity for gross violations. The event will also provide an opportunity to discuss the importance of continued international monitoring and reporting, as well as to deepen the role of the Human Rights Council and other international mechanisms in the human rights crisis in Nicaragua To RSVP,
